741 Restarting Elective Orthopaedic Surgery During The COVID-19 Pandemic: Experiences and Patient Outcomes

Abstract Aim The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in postponing all non-urgent elective surgeries from April 2020. As we emerged the first peak, restarting services such as orthopaedic surgery was important for patients with chronic debilitating conditions. Our hospital successfully restarted during to help improve quality of life patients. This study describes development local protocols and pathways allow a safe restart free site.
